For a medium sized local manufacturer and supplier of FMCG and Surgical Supplies
Job Description
- Manage and develop the sales team
- Provide input and develop, together with senior management sales strategies for growing market share, improving profitability and sales productivity
- Develop business with existing and new customers, generate new markets and grow market share and value for our brands.
- Provide regular reports as required by senior management on sales performance, market intelligence and trends.
- Planning, management and execution of annual sales plans and execution of agreed product and marketing plans
- Planning and analysis of departmental budgets
- Maintain an excellent working relationship and teamwork with senior management and other staff/departments
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of computer systems, software and reports in order to achieve set objectives
- Goal oriented strategic thinker
- At least 5 years' sales management and marketing experience in FMCG
- Experience and ability to drive business categories
- Proven track record in managing a group of people nationally or regionally
- Graduate in sales and/or marketing from a recognized university with at least upper second class honors
- Good communication skills
- Age between 35 and 40 years
