Assistant General Manager (Insurance) Job Vacancy

Our client is a well established general insurance company.

They wish to recruit an Assistant General Manager.

Job Profile

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Company's marketing strategies, annual business plans, and directing operations with the view of growing business, profitability and ensuring that the company provides a high quality customer service.

The principal areas of responsibility will include:-
  • Developing and implementing sound marketing and business development strategies, budgets, service plans liaising with business associates and intermediaries to enhance growth.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, and appropriate, underwriting, and risk mitigation programmes.
  • Supervision of branches and ensure effective implementation of the Marketing Plan in order to accomplish strategic objectives and goals.
Person Profile
  • A University graduate who is a holder of ACII and computer literate.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of General Insurance and strong marketing skills.
  • Below 40 years and over 5 years experience in senior management positions within the insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership qualities, high integrity, creative, a good motivator and a results oriented person.
