The officer will also be responsible for evaluating co-operative activities and trends for promoting the co-operative movement.

The Principal Superintendent (Mechanical) Building Services will be overall in charge of all the technical staff.

He/she will be responsible to the Chief Electrical and Mechanical Engineer in ensuring that the correct standards are maintained in mechanical design drawings and specifications for installations, commissioning, testing and maintenance of mechanical plants, equipments, machinery and accessories in public buildings, airports, hospitals, institutions, among others.

He/she will also be responsible for the planning, costing and financial control of all work
relating to design and maintenance of mechanical plants and accessories.

The Officer will also assist in tendering and awarding of contracts and processing of contract documentation for the installation of mechanical services in public buildings, hospitals etc. In addition, the officer will be responsible for the training and development of all technical staff under him/her.

Deputy Principal Fire Officer
