Anonymous said...

I am one of the people who did the aptitude test on 28th November and want to know if there is anyone who's gotten feedback on the results.Have people started being contacted and if so by what means?

even me i went 4 the aptitude and it was VERY HARD, I was so nervous doing it as it was my first and i didnt know what to expect. to the guy asking what happened, well I got the calling letter via postal mail and we were given our numbers and the date we were to do the interview. Kulikuwa na wasee wengi so I even wondered how they would choose. please anyone in the know inform the rest of us what is going on because I'm dying of anxiety!!!!

jose said...

@Anonymous number 4. you sound quite confident about it. i also went and like anon number 2, i found it hard. how did you find the test, how many questions did you answer and from which uni's did most guys come from. i graduated 4rm KU in 2008 Dec but funny enough, I didn't see any guys from KU so I was just wondering. And did most guys have first classes or something. please answer these questions to me as I have no friends who went to the interview who could give me any feedback abt whats really going on here. thanks.

Anonymous said...

i went for the interview and it was ngumu maybe it was coz it was my first time.when is the shortlisting expected anyone?

angelique said...

kenyanjobs.blogspot.com. please tell us when the shortlisting will be done to relive us from this waiting. i really want to know and would appreciate your information. am sure you have some way of getting this information for us people.

Anonymous said...

Hey guys.i also did the test by it was hard despite the enviroment being friendly. It was a all UON affair as i spoted more than 20 fresh Eng guys from UON.
So is the list out.
Wish u all the best haki tarmacing is hard especially in Nai.

jose said...

an all uon affair. thats too bad but no wonder i dint see my KU broda's and sistaz! but what do they need all those engineers for and kwani how special are uon grads that they have a edge over the rest of us. ama wasee wa ku ni mafala? or is it coz of the ugly strike we had earlier this year. i need to hear from my ku peeps right about now. plus anybody who's got info on the shortlisting ish should also tell us before we die of hear attack.

jose said...

OK, anyone with any info, i'm getting worried already...

shadds said...

Ok,the tension is stil high & its like the big fish are floating in a small pond.so as far as am concerned this is the period of corruptiion since kenya is a man eat man society.bt me sitoi hongo.

Anonymous said...

@shadds, you seem tohave more info on whats going on than poor me. could you elaborate more please? do you know guys who've already begun bribing or who have been approached? and how many trainees are bing recruited by the way?

Anonymous said...

all of you dont hold your breath, even if you have been called for the iinterview they already knew who they where going to pick, so the interview thing was just their routine. if you get the part you are lucky.

Anonymous said...

Your just jealous coz you didnt get called. I know people who are in the trainee programme and they didnt bribe or know anyone. KRA will be recruiting over 200 people so do you honestly imagine all recruits will be products of corruption. Puh-leeze, especially with Allan Namu's expose, KRA will beb trying to be as clean as possible so I think this will be the cleanest recuitment so far. Good luck to all who were called for the first round and please anyone, give us more information.

Anonymous said...

am sorry to say this, but some guyz were seen reporting at the KRA training school in Mombasa with suitcases and other luggages. this was on Tue December, 2009.
i just wish luck to all of us who were unsuccesful during the interview. Am a concerned engineering graduate.
God's time is the best

Jose said...

Oh my God, that is blatant corruption! We should join forces and do something about it, maybe get in touch with akina John Namu and ask him to do an investigation. Who wants to join me?

People who were shortlisted received their invitation letters to the program yesterday on 8/01/2010
It was open n fair as there was no interviews. the only interview was the aptitude test.
They'll be earning allowance of 68,000 per month tax free and they are reporting on 25/January/2010

Jose said...

Thank you for that whoever you are. Now can you tell me how many were shortlisted 'cause we were so many?

Anonymous said...

Mbona mnawasiwasi hivyo na kra. They arent the best paying 4 the first 3-5 years. Mshahara ni 35k b4 other deduction. Was thea but now lucky 2 be in a multinational.

Anonymous said...

anyone who was successful tell us wen u got ua invitation letter and by what means.I'm a ku guy and i saw around 7 ku guys where i was standing during that crazy test. please ppl give genuine facts

Jose said...

I didn't see anyone I knew from K U, maybe I'm just a snob. But yeah, whoever has gotten the letter, please share with the rest of us.

Anonymous said...

who has gotten those letters coz me sijapata?

Anonymous said...

this is anonymous 9/01/2010
People got their letters via posta mail on the week of around 10th to around 13th. So if you have not received yours by now too bad..
And the information of anon 10/01/2010 is false..Allowance is 68,000 and after the 2 year program if successful you are posted at a salary of around 80,000 b4 tax..

Anonymous said...

Have they posted the names somewhere where we can go and confirm if we've been shortlisted- like have they posted the names on some sort of list at Times Towers? Why do they rely on posta and not emails or calls?

Anonymous said...

i really would not know why they rely on posta. maybe its their organizational policy.

Jose said...

That policy is daft. What if the mail does not reach you and you were actually shortlisted? Anyway, I hear guys are already at Coasto attending the classes, is that true?

Anonymous said...

no..they are reporting to times tower on 25th..

Anonymous said...

How many of them and how did they get the call? Through mail, email or phone?

Anonymous said...

I did the apt test and am sure I did well. I answered 50 of the questions very well. I have not been called for the 25th meeting and am very disappointed. I'm sure there was corruption coz if it was purely based on merit I bet I'd be one of the 200. They should put up a list of the results so that there is transparency otherwise I am sure those guys just recruited their Kikuyu brothers but not Luos like me.

Anonymous said...

Hey want wish all of them guyz who were successful....and those not so successful, don't give up....it wasn't ur day bur they is always tomorrow. God Bless you

Anonymous said...

i'm a homeless guy due 2 domestic violence,i had higher expectations.my parents are from kiambu,there4 i'm akikuyu. i attended that aptitude test, superviced by alame boss.i remember the word'stop!'i think i scored around 63 but i was not taken by KRA.my luhya friend told me not 2 waste my time thinking about them,i now belive him.this country has its owners.please let us not blame each other.let us start business or start up companies and bcame new owners of this country.GOD bless all who attended that test.i will also say GODS time is the best

Anonymous said...

I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED. I WONDER HOW MANY KIKUYU'S WERE RECRUITED...

Anonymous said...

So, ppl have already been recruited? Even I was very confident that I did well in those tests but I guess they didnt count. I also wonder how many Kikuyus were taken

Anonymous said...

I was unsuccessful :(. Maybe the lucky ones can tell us how it is going so far.

Anonymous said...

I'm out of the loop on this one ;(. Can someone tell u if there are other people who took the aptitude test who will still be considered in the near future or should I consider my application unsuccessful? And if so, why wasn't I sent a letter of regret? Somebody from KRA, please answer me.

Anonymous said...

the person who monitor this blog can he please do a research and tell us what went on?

Anonymous said...

I think it was not purely based on merit but on godfathers help, becoz none of the guys who claimed 2 av confident dat they performed well received any feedbac. We study hard hopin to wipe our sweat but instead tears forever.God forbid.
