Territory Manager
Reference: Sales/01/2009

Location: Various regions across Kenya

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the indirect generation of sales revenue and achievement of set monthly targets through the effective management of Essar Telecom Distributor(s) and various sales programs in the assigned Territory.

This will be accomplished by ensuring availability of the company’s products and services in the Territory at all times and effectively implementing retail programs to meet the sales objectives.

You will possess the following attributes to perform the job:
  • First degree in a Business Related field
  • Between 2-3 years experience in a Sales environment, preferably in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company
  • Highly Results oriented individual with ability to achieve through individuals.
  • Able to operate in a performance driven environment with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Sales Manager
Reference: Sales/02/2009

Location: Various regions across Kenya

Reporting to the Regional Manager/Head of Retail, you will lead a team of Territory Managers and be responsible for the Area sales, subscriber acquisition and other defined targets through the team, the effective management of Essar Telecom Distributor(s) and various programs in the assigned area.

Skills, experience and qualifications required for the position:
  • First degree in a Business Related field
  • Between 3-5 years experience in a Sales environment, preferably in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company
  • Highly Results oriented individual with ability to achieve through individuals.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to operate in a performance driven environment with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent and effective communications skills both orally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & Sound leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and coach a team.
Sector Manager
Reference: Sales/03/2009

Location: Various regions across Kenya

The Segment Manager will lead, develop, organize, manage and coordinate a corporate segment and as directed, control the segment assets and processes.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales, the Segment Manager will organize, manage, develop and control a client portfolio of the Segment and service their needs.

Skills, experience and qualifications required for the position:
  • A degree in a business related field.
  • 5-7 years experience in a sales/corporate account position in a service/FMCG industry of which 1 year must have been in a managerial/team leadership position.
  • Knowledge of finance principles will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent computing skills.
  • Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Account Manager
Reference: Sales/04/2009

Location: Nairobi

The Account Manager will be responsible for both individual and Corporate Accounts acquisition and Revenue generation by closing sales.

The Account Manager will sell products and services directly to the company’s larger customers primarily via face-to-face contact and develop a strong relationship with
these accounts ensuring sensitivity to the customer’s needs, concerns, and emerging requirements.

Skills, experience and qualifications required for the position:
  • A degree or an advanced diploma in a business related field.
  • 2-6 years hands on experience in direct selling in a service or an FMCG industry.
  • Sound customer care experience.
  • Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing.

Account Executive

The Account Executive will be responsible for both Individual and Corporate Accounts acquisition and Revenue generation by closing sales.

Location: Nairobi

The Account Manager will lead, develop, organize, manage and coordinate a special channels segment and as directed, control the segment assets and processes.

Reporting to the Head of Special Channels, the Account Manager will organize, manage, develop and control a client portfolio of the segment and service their needs.

Skills, experience and qualifications required for the position:
  • A degree or an advanced diploma in a business related field.
  • 2-6 years hands on experience in direct selling in a service or an FMCG industry.
  • Sound customer care experience.
  • Excellent and effective communication skills – both oral and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
