For appointment to the post of KRCHN III, candidates must:

Duties and Responsibilities
Work at this level will be of limited scope and complexity and will be carried our under the guidance of a more senior officer.

In addition, the officer will be expected to assess patients' needs, verify and maintain information relating to patients' admission, keep records of drugs and other supplies, supervise and counsel staff, performing routine clinical duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work at this level will mainly involve seeing and examining patients diagnosing and treating ailments at an outpatient department in a hospital or health centre.
In addition, the officer will be expected to assist in planning and conducting Primary Health care activities, teaching students attached to hospitals and health centres, supervising and counseling a small number of staff engaged on routine patients care and giving support and health education to patients.
Pharmaceutical Technologist III

Duties and Responsibility
Work at this level will be of limited scope and complexity and will be carried out under the guidance of a more senior officer.
Duties include; perform HIV/AIDS counseling and testing to clients, refer HIV positive clients to CCC.
Address gender- stigma related barriers that keep individuals from seeking care.
Liaise with other members of the RH/FP and TB/HIV clinic and other NGOs/CBOs/MOH to provide holistic care for clients, assist in the capacity building of health care workers and family members on topics related to HIV/AIDS counseling, participate in the facility TB/HIV care team and monthly meeting.
Documentation of client information, compiling of project data and writing monthly reports as required.
Health Records Information Officers

For appointment to the post of Health Records Information Officer, a candidate must;

Duties and Responsibility

Duties include registration of all HIV positive clients (initiating and transferred-in) for comprehensive care services.
Registration of all HIV positive clients on HAART in the ART/Cohort register.
Conduct regular site visits and maintain registers correctly.
Availing M& E and data collection tools to hospitals.
Prepare and submit quarterly narrative and monthly data reports on FP/RH, TB, HIV/AIDS activities to MOH and APHIAII N/C.

Social Worker

Duties and Responsibility
Work at this level is of complex nature.
Duties include providing an oversight in the daily administrative and operations of the HIV clinic.
Participate in the facility HIV care team monthly meetings that monitor the implementation of recommended activities.
Act as the link between the HIV clinic and Medical Superintendent and other NGOs/CBOs/MOH in order to provide holistic care for clients
Monitor hygiene and waste management disposal according to guideline.
Take leadership in the provision of quality HIV care and treatment services at MDH HIV clinic.
Provide clinical supervision, on the job training and evaluation of MDH HIV clinic COs and nurses.
Provide oversight in the preparation and submission of quarterly narratives and monthly data reports on FP/RH, TB, HIV/AIDS activities to MOH and APHIA II N/C.
Review MOH tools and FUCHIAdata with Senior Clinical Officer in charge to ensure correct follow through of treatment, reporting of consultations, hospitalizations, defaulters and deaths as a quality control and assurance strategy.
Participate in meetings within the MOH MDH team, APHIA II NC and other MOH partners as required.
Comprehensive Care Center Service/ Patient Attendant

Duties include assisting the receptionists in retrieving patient files from filing cabinets, weigh all patients, and measure the height of all children and new patients attending the HIV clinic, recording the time of weighing, taking files of TB/HIV co-infected patients who pick their TB drugs from the facility, taking of blood samples to the laboratory and collection. Assist in loading/unloading vehicles bringing supplies to the clinic.
Comprehensive Care Center Administrative Officer

Duties and Responsibility
This position is in-charge of procurement and general administrative matters of the facility under the guidance of Officer in-charge of the facility.
Duties include overall office administration including supervision of support staff Management and coordination of procurement of goods and services, maintenance of equipment at the HIV clinic and laboratory, administration of HR matters.
Management of all equipment and stocks required in the clinic, supervision of monthly stationary, sheets and IEC material, cleaning items, food and logistic orders.
Coordinate events taking care of logistics for paediatrics, teens and adult psychosocial activities
Improve communication and coordination between APHIA II Nairobi and the MDH HIV clinic.
Assist in budget monitoring.
Comprehensive Care Center Peer Educator/Administrative Assistant

Duties and Responsibility
Work at this level will be of limited scope and complexity and will be carried out under the guidance of an administrative assistant.
Duties involve opening and cleaning office early in the morning, carry out any major cleaning as agreed with the Administrative Assistant
Ensure the office is equipped with adequate cleaning materials and consumables.
Ensure availability of office supplies.
Support other ad hoc duties such as messaging, filing, faxing and photocopying.
Assist the nursing team in the taking of blood samples to the laboratory and collection of results.
