The County Government of Homa Bay wishes to consider applications from highly qualified, results-oriented and self-motivated Kenyan citizens for appointment to the following positions:

Three (3) Years Contract


Registered Clinical Officer II (Anaesthetist) 
 
Job Group J
 
(Posts 5)

Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Offering pre-operative assessment (anesthetic screening) and management of patient.
 
(ii) Offering intra-operative management to patients.
 
(iii) Offering post-operative management/follow up of theatre patients/clients.
 
(iv) Giving anesthetic advice to theatre hospital team in all matters pertaining to anesthesia.
 
(v) Guiding and counselling patients/clients/staffs in matters pertaining to anesthesia.
 
(vi) Responsible for anesthetic drugs and machines.
 
(vii) Collecting and compiling anesthetic data and report.
 
(viii) Performing any other duty that maybe given by the supervisor.

Requirements

(i) Higher diploma in clinical medicine and surgery anesthesia from a recognized institution.
 
(ii) Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery or clinical medicine and community health from a recognized institution
 
(iii) Certificate of registration from the clinical officers council
 
(iv) Valid practicing license from Clinical officers’ council.
 
(v) Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
 
(vi) Good interpersonal and communication skills.
